The Barrett House is a state-of-the-art emergency shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness and looking to better their lives. Women and children are provided a secure and safe place where they receive a comfortable bed, three meals a day and supportive services, including career, self-development, health and behavioral services. We also provide advocacy for housing, employment and benefits programs.
All of Barrett Foundation’s housing programs begin the Barrett House Shelter. Within three days of entering the shelter, each guest works with the Housing Stability Advocate to formulate an exit plan to find a home, live independently and become contributing members of our community.
