Supportive Housing Programs

Our transitional housing programs include case managers who conduct home visits and work with each woman individually to find appropriate resources to help them better their lives.

Bridges helps families move from homelessness to living on their own by providing supportive rental housing for up to two years and teaching them the skills they need for a stable, independent lifestyle.

Rapid Re-Housing

Rapid Re-Housing is a transitional program that helps families or single women who have some resources, including skills, education, work or income, and are able to be moved expeditiously from the Shelter to subsidized housing then to independent living. The length of stay is 90 days to 24 months.

Milagro Permanent Housing provides residents an opportunity to take control of their lives through independent apartment living. Residents work full time jobs, empowering them into living productive and healthy lives. Resident’s rent is paid for by the Barrett Foundation.

Socorro Permanent Housing helps single women and women with children who have experienced homelessness for a year or longer or who have experienced homelessness multiple times and have a disability. We help them gain self-confidence and important life skills while they work to provide for their children. The length of stay is 18 to 36 months.
