It’s due to the countless hours of volunteers that Barrett House is able to positively impact the lives of the women and children experiencing homelessness. Volunteers provide the extra needed help and special touches to make the lives of those we serve better. Our goal is to match community skills and interests with our organizational needs to create a meaningful and fulfilling experience for all who come to partner with us.

To volunteer at Barrett House:
Submit online Volunteer Application.
Volunteers must be 16 or older and submit to a Background Check (Background information will be provided at Orientation). Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you want to learn more about Barrett’s operations ‘behind the scenes’? Feel free to attend our monthly Board meetings, held the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6 pm. Join us by zoom below, or in person at Barret House shelter.
